Our Newbuilding department has capitalized on our team’s long and lasting association with renowned shipyards around the world (which goes back to the mid 1980s) that enables us to have privileged and up to date information that assist shipping companies achieve the best possible deal.
We constantly provide shipping companies with the latest investment opportunities and guide them through the selection process when they decide to invest in the construction of newbuilding vessels.
We offer
our newbuilding brokerage services at every stage of the construction project, from the determination of the design, outline specifications, maker’s list and the negotiations of commercial terms to the completion of the project and delivery of the vessel. We closely monitor the project and liaise with the shipyard/seller in order to ensure the smooth development of the construction process.
We work
with shipyards across the globe and can offer slots for Containers, Bulk Carriers, Oil/Product/Chemical Tankers, LPG and Ammonia carriers, LNG Carriers, or even more specialized projects such as Heavylift vessels, Ferries, RoRo - PCC/PCTC – Ro-Pax Vessels, Offshore rigs or vessels.
Thanks to our extensive network of financiers handled by our Ship Finance team, we are also able to provide packaged deals (Newbuilding and Finance) and provide financing for both pre-delivery and delivery instalments - making the investment decision easier for a shipowner to place an order.
